Supporting NorthCare’s Sunshine Appeal thanks to our charity lottery players
At Creamline, our mission has always gone beyond simply
delivering milk to the doorstep. We want to serve our community and make a
positive impact to people’s lives in the North West. That's why we’re more than
proud to express our gratitude towards all of our charity lottery playing
customers, whose generosity has allowed us to donate £500 to NorthCare Charity's Sunshine
Appeal.
What is NorthCare’s Sunshine Appeal?
The Sunshine Appeal aims to be beacon of hope for the Children’s Unit at Royal Oldham Hospital, a place that provides critical care for approximately 10,000 young patients each year. These children are cared for within the unit's wards, which include a high dependency unit, procedure rooms, outdoor courtyards, an infant feeding room and a ‘Sunshine Room’ for children with complex medical needs or, sadly, nearing the end of their lives.
The Sunshine Appeal envisions a transformative refurbishment of the Children’s Unit, turning it into a vibrant, therapeutic sanctuary that feels more like a 'home from home' for the children. Our donation, all thanks to you, will contribute towards creating an engaging, comfortable environment for play and relaxation, offering children a much-needed respite from the clinical hospital setting and help boost their spirits during challenging times.
NorthCare’s heartfelt message thanks Creamline and our charity lottery players for the continued support: “We are extremely grateful for your committed support, and this donation will make a fabulous difference to our children’s project at Royal Oldham Hospital. The aim is clear: to ensure the Children’s Unit becomes a place where children with complex needs can not only receive top-notch care but do so in an environment that lifts their spirits and promotes healing.”
A significant part of this revamp is the enhancement of the Sunshine Room - a haven for children with complex needs and those in the final stages of their lives. Our donation will help towards the introduction of comforting elements like alternative lighting, sound, and textures, as well as specialised sensory equipment designed to meet the emotional and physical needs of these young patients.
The Sunshine Appeal also has plans for a 'family room' area,
which will offer vital rest space and overnight accommodations for parents and
siblings. This invaluable addition will provide families the ability to stay
close and offer comfort to their loved ones during trying times.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to every one of our customers
participating in our charity lottery. Your support has been instrumental in our
donation to the Sunshine Appeal, as well as our core charities, St Ann’s Hospice, Francis House and The Joshua Tree, on a monthly basis.
We invite others who are not yet part of the lottery to join us, support some
great causes and have fun.
Half of all the ticket sales are paid out in prizes, with a
weekly draw of several £100 and £50 prizes and a 10 weekly larger draw with a
top £1000 prize and then a number of £500, £250, £100 and £50 prizes as well.
