How our Cream of the Community Fund is making a difference
Thank you once again to everyone who nominated local charities and good causes for our Cream of the Community Fund. At Creamline, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve, which is why we launched this scheme to champion the vital work being carried out in our local area. We were touched by the more than 200 heartfelt nominations we received and were pleased to hear from the charities about how they will be using their £500 donations.
These donations would not be possible without the Creamline Charity Lottery. This scheme has been up and running for 30 years and has raised valuable funds for local charities and good causes across the North West, all thanks to our customers.
You can find out more about how to play here.
Here are just a few of the 10 charities we have donated to and what they will be doing with the money:
Together Dementia Support
Together Dementia Support is a Manchester-based charity dedicated to supporting those living with dementia, as well as their families. They run both friendship and activity groups to help people socialise, maintain skills, stay healthy and generally have a good time.
“Right now, it is very difficult for local charities like ours to maintain all our staffing and services, as there is no new money from local authorities and fewer grants available—especially for the welfare of older people. This grant will allow us to continue delivering good experiences for our members."

The Fox Rescuers
The Fox Rescuers is a Stockport-based animal charity that rescues, rehabilitates and releases foxes to reunite them with their families. These adorable animals are cared for personally by Paul McDonald and Carol Gowrie, who have over twelve years of hands-on experience in looking after foxes.
“Thank you for your generous £500 funding for our rescue work. As we enter our busiest season—cub season—our focus is on reuniting lone fox cubs with their families. Your support will help build a release pen for rehabilitating orphaned cubs. Last year, we released 41, and we expect as many or more this year.”

The Little Green Sock Project
The Little Green Sock Project is a dedicated group of local volunteers who believe all children should have access to the basics they need to thrive. Based in Trafford, they harness the support and goodwill of the local community to collect clothing that children have outgrown and donate it to those who need it most. Working closely with professionals who are already supporting families experiencing financial hardship, they help ensure that all children receive the essentials they deserve.
“Huge thanks to Creamline Dairies for this donation. This will directly help support our work in the local community, ensuring that children from disadvantaged backgrounds do not go without the essentials they need for a safe and happy childhood.”
